Answer:

Participant safety is our highest priority. The event is supported by an experienced Race Management Team, medical professionals, rescue personnel, and trained volunteers. Medical support will be available at the Start/Finish area and at designated aid stations. While every reasonable effort is made to provide a safe event, trail running takes place in a natural environment where conditions can change rapidly. Participants are expected to exercise good judgment, follow race instructions, and run within their personal limits.

Answer:

Jawai Trail Run is a true trail running experience. The course consists primarily of natural trails, rocky granite paths, dirt tracks, village roads, dry riverbeds, and uneven terrain. Some sections may include jeep tracks or short stretches of paved roads used to connect trail sections. Expect loose rocks, technical climbs, descents, and uneven surfaces throughout the course.

Answer:

Yes. The entire course will be clearly marked using directional arrows, ribbons, signboards, flags, reflective markers (where required), and race marshals at important junctions. However, participants must remain attentive at all times and follow the official course markings. Taking shortcuts or leaving the marked route may result in disqualification.

Answer:

Late January in Jawai generally offers pleasant running conditions. Early morning temperatures typically range between 10°C and 18°C, gradually increasing to around 22°C to 28°C during the day. Participants should be prepared for cool mornings and warm afternoons.

Answer:

Rainfall during January is uncommon in Jawai; however, weather is unpredictable and light showers are always possible. Participants should be prepared for changing weather conditions.
